yea, the concept looked so much better. but it wasn't aerodynamic enough or some stupid excuse by them.

That's a poor reason for the change. I like the concept because it promised great looks and good gas milage. The final product just promised good milage. They should have kept the looks and sacraficed a little on the milage part. I would have understand.

Charlie, I can see their thinking though. If you're going to make something the "best" at something, you should be willing to sacrifice a bit on other things to make sure your goal isn't compromised.

That's why I give Chevy a pat on the back for the volt. All carmakers have one goal in mind: sell more cars!
This means they are willing to sacrifice everything else to achieve that end.
(i.e. looks, style, creativity, etc.)

Chevy has said that they want to make the car the most fuel efficient possible, longest electric range possible, etc. And they're sticking too it.

But of course, I wouldn't buy one :rofl:

Exactly.........I believe most customers want to have a combination of both good looks and good gas milage. they sacrafice too much of one to accomidate the other. In doing so, they lost a lot of potential customer.
