btw, how did you get the degree symbol on the key board?

It's an old trick from the Word Perfect days.

You have to use the ALT key on the keyboard, and the numbers from the number pad. (the numbers at the top of the keyboard do NOT work for some reason)

ALT + 248 = Degrees symbol = °
ALT + 0177 = Plus/minus = ±
