Basic Warranty will remain the same: 3/36
Corrosion coverage is 5/100
Air Bag coverage is 3/36
Emissions coverage is 3/36
A/C coverage is 3/36
Extended Federal Emissions coverage is 8/80
exceptions inc the VW Routan, Sprinter, Ram Diesel and Ram Diesel Cab & Chassis, company cars, NM Raider, SRT vehicles, police and fire/ambulance

The lifetime powertrain warranty wasn't really working at stimulating sales anyway. (especially with the cash for clunkers program going) It's probably a good business move to replace it.

I believe some purchase Mopars over other brands because of the LLPW, but it was really killing the trade-in values which in turn, turned many people off.
For instance, why would you go buy a year or two old Jeep with maybe 35K miles on it for only a few thousand $$'s less than you could buy a NEW one with ZERO miles and a LLPW?
My Compass took a beating. While I did buy it at a decent price, it went in value from a $22K MSRP sticker to only worth $9,500 as a trade in 14 months and 11K miles later. WOW! Rediculous......

Not many people liked the looks.
The Patriot is basically the same vehicle, and sells much better.
For what it's worth, your Caliber is nearly the same vehicle too.

oh i know they are all the same, don't worry.
but the patriot is the 4x4 of the group, the caliber is the hatchback of the group, and the compass was just an accident from the beginning
