I haven't seen the ford focus RS, but if the hornet's an SRT package with the neon setup... I can't see a ford focus keeping up with it stock for stock.

I don't know much about the RS, but I assume its naturally aspirated?

you do realize that the "neon setup" is dead now:grim:

it would be more or less the "Caliber setup now:beatdeadhorse5::alfdance::blowingup:

I dont follow Phord or their cars.....I hate ford! All i know is that the SVT Focus is a joke

Well, almost all manufacturers have their phases. Ford did some really cool stuff with the SVO mustang back in the day. That turbo motor platform was really stout.

Yeah, I know. But I own an NSRT and I don't accept the Calibur as my brother. Even if it does have more horsies.....

Funny how people compare the SRT Neon and Caliber... they are totally different.. the Caliber is more of a SUV than a car..There's nothing similar other than the SRT name and maker

Well in a month i will compare both, since i will own both.

SUV?? That's what that guy in the turbo MR2 said yesterday, before I killed him by like 3 bus lenghts. I get that all the time until they see how fast my car really is. I love my CSRT4. It's roomy, good on gas (25+mpg city and 30+mpg highway). You can't beat that with a 10ft pole.

Really, my buddy has one and I don't think he gets that kind of gas mileage at all.

I myself am really impressed with the gas mileage reports coming from teh CSRT4, as its basically the same as what im getting in my 1.8L 5-speed caliber...

Oh really? Because its between the CSRT4 and the new Civic SI, of which one I buy.

Since you are accustomed to going fast...you're not going to want an SI

I know but the honda wont depreciat as fast as the dodge will.

Funny that you mentioned the SVT focus. I had one rev at me the other day. I was stopped getting ready to turn and as he passed by he revved at me. I wanted to follow him and go slap his stupid ass for doing that ****.

Talking about the CSRT4......lets see how much they can hold as far as power!

I saw the hornet on SRTforums.com and actually went to see if it was avaialbe on the dodge website for sale. I think it looks pretty nice. My wife likes it so there you go. Doubt she would want an SRT package but I sure would! hahahaha:jester:

hmmm which is actually faster??? the csrt or the nsrt? i still like the looks of both and i probly wouldn't trade off my nsrt for a csrt though
i would really like to see this thing with an srt trim see what kinda body they would put out with an srt model

Thanks for the warm welcome Charlie.

Quick clarification... I was referring to the Euro Spec RS...I just think that Ford will eventually will bring this to the states once they start brining the Euro Focus here in 2010. The RS has 285hp will be a direct competitor to the STI. :rocker:

The SRT nameplate really helps it keep its value up there pretty well. And the Caliber SRT-4 isn't a chic car either. :jester: :gotrice: :rice:

srt owners have their head stuck up their asses.

accepting as my brother? gimme a break. what the hell does that even mean?

the red sled, as everyone knows, put down some crazy ponies and times but only after a lot of work. now look at the red shed and the minimal mods its gotten and its already responding extremely well. time will only tell how much dcr can pull out of that thing but looking at the preliminary results shows a lot of promise.

maybe once the shed does 10's or 9's like the sled maybe you'll accept it as your "brother"
