I think it would be a good idea for us to host a petition to "Build" the Dodge Hornet with a possible follow-up petition to build an SRT4 version.

iIthink it would be a good idea. How else will they know if there is a real interest if the Dodge faithful don't let thier opinion be heard

Dodge have no choice but to build the Hornet. The Challenger is great. Lots of excitement. But it's not a car that pays the bills. The question will be, if Chrysler can stay true to concept. We have not seen a "real" interior yet. Have we?

The alternative would be to bring in some Dodge models from Mexico with Attitude.

Would any of you want this instead?

I agree, that's what sucks about something like this.. how long before there is a SRT model we can buy? 5 years? 6 years? I hope it doesn't take that long.

I'll chime in for a vote to build this! I think its a very needed vehicle from Chrysler since most of their line up is big trucks and SUV's.

I don't know why they wouldn't use something like the 1.8 Liter World Engine in this instead of a Nissan engine. I think that would be a great engine to use in it. Also, I'd like to see them use a regular 4-speed automatic (5-speed manual as well) instead of the CVT used in the Caliber. But since Chrysler and Nissan are getting closer and closer I'm afraid they might use the CVT over a regular automatic.

Do you think Chrysler would market this as the Dodge Omni in the US if they made it? If so, they could produce a Dodge Omni GLH (Goes Like Hell).
